Arriving to Kyoto
After a plesant trip on the Shinkansen we arrived to Kyoto. We had no idea where our hostel should be because we didnt remember to check it out before leaving Cherry Court. So we checked the location using my UBER NOKIA PHONES internet browser. After taking a train to the nearest station and walking for 10 minutes we found our hostel (Orange Hostel). It was quite far from everything but the place was ok. We stayed in a 6 person dorm with a guy from indonesia who was studying japanese in Hiroshima. After the trip, packing and cleaning our rooms we were quite tired, so we deicided to go to a nearby hot spring for some so lirex. Nice place, cheap and close to the hostel so we visited the place everynight on our stay in Kyoto. Also we met our first Yakuza guys there. Seemed like pretty nice fellows :)

Kinkakuji
The next day we decided to go see the golden pavillon (Kinkakuji) . Me and Samuli started the hunt for the perfect foliage picture all over again. We were quite lucky because the area wasnt as full of tourists as we tought it would be. And I bought a Victory talisman from there, that seems to be even working from time to time.Nice pictures, nice weather, nice foliage. Nuff said.

Stonegarden samurais
Next destination (erittäin diipit kivipuutarhat) the very deep atmosphere of the stonegardens. After a few days of meditation we felt we were pure enough to move on to the highly impressing philosophers path. Actually, we were so impressed by it, that we walked it twice. I would recommend every traveller to take that route atleast twice, preferably at night while it is raining. On the way there we found a place selling samuraiswords. Old ones and new ones. Quite cool actually, one costs about 4,000,000 yen. The woman selling them promised they are still sharp even after hundreds of years. After that, we went for a beer in an izakaya near our hostel. We ended up paying 1200yen for a beer that tasted like piss. Thank you very much.

Zer Bamboo Monkeys!
Last day in Kyoto we went to see our cousins out from the Kyoto city, the monkeys! And they ruled. The most interesting place in whole Kyoto. The temples, well, when you´ve seen one, you have seen them all, right? And we have seen plenty. The place was really nice, even tough the village was packed with Japanese tourists, surprising enough, the monkey hill was quite tourist free. Maby the 10 minute hike up the hill was too much. The three wise monkeys arrived again and one of the monkeys stole Esa´s water bottle (Apina nussi pullon). Oh and the village had a bamboo forest too.
